I'm Wade Young, a thrill-seeking enduro racer from KwaZulu-Natal. My journey kicked off with a bang in 2012 when, at 16, I clinched the Roof of Africa Enduro in Lesotho. This wasn't just any win; I was the youngest to ever snag the title in this legendary race's 45-year history and the first South African to do so since 2007. Beating the best, including veterans like Graham Jarvis and Chris Birch, by a whopping 11 minutes wasn't just luck - it was a statement.

2012 marked my first full enduro season, and boy, did I ride that wave! Winning national titles and global races, I just kept proving that my early success was no fluke. Fast forward to 2016, I teamed up with Sherco, and the results were electric! I bagged my first major European win at Hell's Gate in Italy, nailed podium spots at Red Bull Romaniacs and Megawatt 111, and notched a win at Portugal's Extreme XL Lagares. The wins kept rolling in. 2018 was a standout year with a trio of victories at the European classics – Red Bull 111 Megawatt, Sea to Sky, and the grueling Romaniacs. And in 2021, I grabbed top spots at the HERO Challenge, Red Bull Romaniacs, and clinched third in the inaugural FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. I'm far from done, though! With plenty of race tracks ahead, I'm pumped to share my journey, workouts, and techniques through my enduro training app. Whether you're a fellow enduro enthusiast or just love a good race story, join me and let's tackle those trails together!
